With only a marginal increase in weight it offers a much higher level of insulation that makes it the perfect option for everything from multi-day ski touring to remote mountaineering and rock climbing on those freezing days with perfect friction.
Equally important is the cut, with a protective, helmet compatible hood and high collar the Baltoro maximises your warmth even in exposed, windy conditions where many lightweight jackets start to let you down.
